Campers Paradise | Map
Many summers as a child were spent amongst the trees in a small campground just outside of Cooks Forest. We used tends, a pop-up camper & even a cabin once during a weekend snow in the winter (yes, during the winter). This is the place that I fell in love with the forest, the wet smell of moss & dirt a few days after a rain, the trickling water of a nearby stream, the peaceful silence of absolutely nothing but the chirping of birds & wind in the trees. Here is where it all began, and so I thought it only fitting I pay tribute to this place I loved so much by creating an homage to a map that I can still navigate by memory to this day.
